Joyce's Testimony

Joyce is a wonderful mother who prioritizes her independence and spends time volunteering in her community. She has been familiar with New Horizons' Intellectual and Developmental Disability services for many years now and credits the programs for assisting her in getting where she is now.
Throughout the years, New Horizons has assisted Joyce with transportation, employment coaching, maintaining a household, parenthood, and other life skills. While Joyce lives a very independent life, she sill remains very close to the staff and individuals we have at our I/DD Service Center and loves to participate in our events - including our recent I/DD Talent Show where she won the 1st place award for her amazing singing!
"It helped me a lot with transportation and doing activities outside of the house," Joyce says about her time with our services.
We are thankful to know Joyce and have her continue to be involved with our mission. We are so proud of the mother and member of our community she is!
